Class Schedule
Beginner yoga - Proper form and alignment are taught for the purpose of safety. Debby believes no one is ever too young or too old or too inflexible or too weak to start practicing yoga. Learning to move in and out of poses properly, adapting poses to fit your unique body, mindfulness of breath and posture are essential to a healthy practice, building a solid foundation to explore further.
Vinyasa yoga - Variations and add-ons to basic poses encourage you to explore your body's authentic form. Matching your movement to your breath works into a flowing sequence that begins a creative journey to your yoga practice. At times there are long holds in poses, to bring on stillness, to encourage relaxation and to stretch deep into the connective tissues. Strength and flexibility will begin to materialize and build, challenging you to explore further.
Power yoga - Dynamic movements, creative poses, strength, stamina, flexibility, pranayama will be intertwined creating a fun and challenging practice. Knowledge of basic poses and a solid foundation of moving in and out of poses safely before attending this class is encouraged but not necessary as Debby tries to teach to all levels in all her classes and she will provide modification to some of the poses. Always remember....this practice is yours! Make it you......own it! |
